The story behind
Jérôme Ferrer approached us to design an experience that transforms a simple tasting into an experience of discovery. The concept is to bring dishes back into their historical, social and geographical contexts. Just before enjoying one of the main courses – in nearly a 12-course meal – all guests are invited to put on a Virtual Reality headset to discover the origin of the ingredients they are about to consume. This experience is a world premiere, and we are proud to have made it possible! Virtual Reality highlights fascinating differences between perception and reality. We believe that it exploits its full potential when experienced in the company of friends and family, outside the comfort of our living rooms. This is why we’ve used Timecode Lab proprietary's SyncVR technology, software that can synchronize up to 35 Oculus Go headsets. With SyncVR, Augmented Reality is experienced as a group, as the best souvenirs are created as a group.

Jérôme Ferrer is an internationally acclaimed chef, whose creativity surpasses the confines of the kitchen. For the launch of his new restaurant, Europea, he concocted a whole new menu that combines the pleasures of the palate with those of sight and sound. From their arrival to the restaurant until their last bite, guests are guided through a multi-sensory scenario. Created in scriptwriter René-Richard Cyr’s signature style, every detail of this luxurious gastronomic meal has been carefully considered to delight the customer.
